The USFN Speaker Resource Group

​The USFN Speaker Resource Group (SRG) comprises two distinct parts: a growing roster of members and servicers interested in speaking at USFN events and an associated webinar series focused on speaker growth and development.
The SRG resource replaces the 'calls for presenters' typically launched ahead of each event. By streamlining the process, we’re able to gather more detailed information about each speaker and match them to the best speaking engagements given their knowledge or experience. This program will also help USFN ensure it has quality (and a variety of) speakers for its various events. If you're interested in joining the SRG Directory, please complete the application and submit for review. If you already signed up earlier this year, you do not need to do so again. Should you have any questions please contact the events team. 
Are you an USFN member needing potential speakers for an upcoming event? Complete the Speaker Resource Data Request form to submit a request for an USFN speaker listing. Based on the information you provide, we will email a report of possible speakers from our Speaker Resource Group Directory within one week.

The use of inclusive language in USFN publications and at USFN events fosters growth and ensures all members of the
USFN community feel welcome, included, and heard. To that end, the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Section
recommends that content creators consider these guidelines when preparing USFN publications, events, meeting minutes,
​posts, videos, panels, and articles.

SRG Webinar Recordings & Resources

The SRG webinar series is designed for both the new and seasoned default servicing speaker. The webinars deliver short, but impactful express learning opportunities on an ongoing basis that may be consumed individually or as a series. Sessions will also be recorded and made available for later viewing. We’ll package and deliver relevant tips, tricks and resources you can immediately put into practice to build your confidence when speaking, add tools to your speaker toolbox, elevate your design and delivery of content, and (over time) improve the evaluation comments you receive from participants post-session. This program is complimentary to our members as part of your membership and investment in your professional development. 
Navigating In-Person Conferences in a Lingering COVID World
​It’s been two years and none of us know what to do with in-person conferences. This session will look at the unique challenges to attending and presenting at live conferences while respecting social distancing and safety.  Our speakers will discuss raising the bar on presenting panels to be more engaging, innovative and interesting while preparing for last minutes changes and challenges; creating hybrid presentations to connect in-person with remote attendees; and respecting all attendees' COVID comfort while enjoying being in person. Join us as we address what’s changed and what hasn’t in the world of in-person presenting and attending conferences while looking forward to a return to… “normal?”​
