Donna Case-Rossato, or “Casey”, joined McCalla Raymer Leibert Pierce, LLC in January 2009 and is presently Managing Partner Connecticut Foreclosures. Previously, she had been the Chief Operating Officer, Managing Attorney for the Foreclosure and Mediation Department, as well as the firm’s Compliance Attorney. Prior to joining the firm, she was a Senior Vice President and Associate General Counsel at CitiMortgage, Inc. for 10 years and worked with a variety of units, including Litigation Management, Wholesale Lending and Warehouse Lending. Before joining Citi, she was in private practice in Connecticut, concentrating in foreclosure and bankruptcy work. Casey was admitted to the Connecticut bar in 1989 and admitted to the Maryland bar in 2000. She is also admitted to the U.S. District Court for Connecticut. Casey has a B.S. from Cornell University, 1980 and received her J.D. from Western New England College School of Law in 1989. Casey was on the Board of Directors of the USFN, named Committee Chair of the Year 2015 and Member of the Year 2016, and has moderated and spoken at numerous USFN conferences, as well as Mortgage Bankers Association panels at Legal Issues Conferences. |

Ms. Manson-Tompkins is the managing attorney of The Wolf Firm’s Eviction and Foreclosure Departments. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Manson-Tompkins had her own office for nine years and was also an attorney with a prominent real estate/business litigation law firm based in southern California. She has spent the majority of her 31 years in practice handling residential civil litigation, with particular emphasis on complex evictions, judicial foreclosures and mobile home foreclosures. She also has substantial experience handling surplus funds, deeds-in-lieu of foreclosure and bankruptcies. Ms. Newberry has been a practicing lawyer for over 35 years specializing in the arena of Financial Services law, with specific knowledge and expertise in Banking, Non-Depository Financial Institution Law (including Mortgage Lenders and Brokers, Mortgage Loan Originators, and Money Service Businesses), Consumer Lenders (including licensing, reporting, and enforcement); and Regulatory and Compliance Law (including Regulatory Administrative and Enforcement Issues/Orders). Ms. Newberry has spent much of her legal career as a regulator in both federal and state agencies. In her current role with the Firm, she uses her regulatory experience from both sides of the aisle to advise and counsel clients on how best to meet compliance, regulatory, and control challenges across a vast array of financial service clients. Ms. Newberry served as an Enforcement Attorney in the FDIC’s Professional Liability Section for several years. In this role she was charged with the investigation, identification, and determination of any wrong doing associated with directors, officers, attorneys, accountants, and other professionals associated with a failed bank. Ms. Newberry also served as Assistant General Counsel and later as Vice President of the Housing Choice Program at the Atlanta Housing Authority where she was an instrumental part of a small team that designed the Atlanta “Moving To Work” program for HUD assisted housing which is now considered to be the national model for large urban housing authorities across the country. Immediately before joining Aldridge Pite, LLP, Ms. Newberry served for seven years as the Deputy Commissioner for the Georgia Banking Department where she acted as chief legal officer for the Georgia agency that regulates depository and non-depository financial institutions across the state. |

Rob is a Principal of the firm and the firm’s Managing Litigation Partner overseeing litigation for all the states in which the firm practices. Rob also reviews and drafts pleadings, argues motions, and represents clients in adversarial and evidentiary hearings and settlement conferences, at trial and before the Connecticut Appellate and Supreme Courts as well as Federal District, Appellate and the United States Supreme Court. Before joining Bendett & McHugh, P.C., Rob was in private practice for several years.
