Where can I find the module materials?
Recorded modules 1-4 of Series 4 will be released each Monday in October (see schedule above for weekly release dates). You will receive an email from USFN on Monday of each week that a Series 4 module is released. In that email, you will find a link to the CASE Files Attendee Portal where you can find all information needed to access that week's module. You can also access any previously released modules on this portal. You will need your USFN user name and password to enter the attendee portal.
Please visit the CASE Files Attendee Portal for all resources. On the portal you can:
How do I view CASE Files?
The CASE Files Series 4 modules are pre-recorded videos that can be viewed online on vimeo.com. Links to each video can be found on the CASE Files Attendee Portal once released. You will receive an email from USFN on Monday of each week that a Series 4 module is released to notify you when the videos are available to view. Modules will be released weekly, but you can view them anytime at your convenience, day or night.
How much time should I hold on my calendar?
Each module video is approximately 30 minutes. You will likely need an additional 10 minutes to complete the knowledge check and quick evaluation after the video is over. Once a module is released, you can watch any time based on your schedule.
What if I have a question specific to my jurisdiction?
If a topic was discussed during one of the modules and an example was provided for a jurisdiction, but you're hoping for local insights, contact a USFN member in your local jurisdiction via the USFN Member Directory for specific guidance.
When will I gain access to the recordings?
Once released, each pre-recorded 30-minute session can be viewed anytime on-demand and asynchronously. Although they’re designed to build off one another, you are welcome to watch just the sessions for which you’re most interested. Or you can re-watch sessions again to catch what you might have missed.
When will I receive my digital badges?
If you score at least four out of five points on a module's knowledge check, you earn a digital badge! Don’t worry if you missed the score the first time, you can always review the material and retake knowledge checks. Digital badges will be awarded within a week of the module's completion, typically on Fridays. Your digital badge will come via email to the email address you submitted during registration from the badgr.com platform. Please make sure to have your IT department approve the badgr.com domain or check your spam/junk folders if you have not received one or more of your digital badges.

- Review the outlines for each module.
- Watch the session videos.
- Reference the PowerPoint slides for each module as needed.
- Complete the brief evaluation following each module. Your honest feedback will help us make improvements to future course offerings.
- Complete the five-question knowledge check following each module. Your goal is to collect all four digital badges by earning an 80 percent or above on each knowledge check (that equates to four out of five correct). Digital badges are a symbol of knowledge acquisition and competency. They can be shared with a supervisor, printed out, displayed, or posted to social media — all in an effort to build and advance your career.
- Reference all links associated with the modules.
- View the recordings of any modules that have been previously released.
